Doorstep complimentary packaging:
You don’t need to bother looking for the right packaging material for your courier. No more hunting for envelopes of the right size or wondering if two layers of bubble wrap are enough or you need three? Our WishMaster will pack your courier safely and securely in the complimentary packaging material that we will provide. You do not need to pack your courier. However, if you wish to use your own packaging for any reason, you can request the WishMaster to do so - just ensure you have not sealed the courier, as the WishMaster needs to validate what’s inside the courier.
When booking a pickup, you will be provided with indicative (but all inclusive) charges for your courier - based on the source and destination pincodes, the estimated weight of the package, and the service type (Prime or Standard). When the WishMaster comes to pickup your item, he will measure the weight using a scale and the dimensions of your courier using a measuring tape. He will then punch these numbers into his device and generate the correct charges for your courier - if these are agreeable to you, he will transparently issue an invoice to you right then! No more guessing what the additional surcharges or taxes will be - all our charges are all inclusive!
Real-time track and trace:
Right at the time of booking, you will be issued a tracking id that can be used throughout the lifecycle of the courier to track everything from pickup to transit to delivery - in real-time right on this site! See that box at the very top? You may enter any EKART Courier tracking id beginning with FLSH in that box to track that courier. You may also go to the Bookings section of the site, to see a list of all your bookings. If they are open (i.e. not delivered or cancelled), then you will be able to track them as well by clicking on the respective tracking id.
Real-time SMS updates:
We will also inform you, the booker and shipper and the recipient via SMS of key events such as when booking is confirmed, when the WishMaster is out for pickup, when pickup is completed, when the courier is out for delivery and finally when the courier is delivered. Hence it is important to provide the right mobile number of both the shipper and the recipient.
EKART Courier will deliver the courier to the recipient’s doorstep. Typically, the WishMaster will call the recipient before attempting delivery to ensure the recipient or her representative is available for delivery. In case they are not available, then not to worry, we will reattempt delivery on the next day.
